Idiocy

This dickhead was so dangerous that we chucked away 100s of years of trial by juries, but not dangerous enough to stop him buggering off at lunchtime of his trial.

It beggars belief. It's absolutely mental, words actually fail me. We've fouled up the judicial system, setting a terrible precedent, for a trial that has now ground to halt because plod can't keep their eye on the defendant.
